  • Drop Box totally not working / broken after profile migration.
  • User lost permissions to DropBox folders after migration.
  • Saving data to DropBox shares don't sync to cloud.

        Hi Grug,

        Unfortunately, DropBox, uses an extra layer of proprietary encryption, and will need to be reinstalled after the migration.

    Data Back Up

        placeholder Rename current DropBox local folders.

    Uninstall DropBox

      Place Holder

    DropBox Metadata Clean Up

    • Remove any left over folders in the ProgramFiles(x86) directory.

    • Rename dropbox folders in %appdata% local and %appdata% roaming.

    • Reg Key thing in Explorer Shell

    Fresh Install

    • Reboot
    • Fresh Install
